Robert was overwhelmed with all the support from fans and all the media attention that came his way, he said "You've blown away all of our expectations, and we feel so honored to have made a film that means as much to you as it does to us. Without your passion, interaction and support, this film would not be where it is today — the #1 movie in America!"
For all you die hard fans out there, if you can't wait until November 09 to get your Robert Pattinson fix, than you can catch him playing the artist Salvador Dali in the film, Little Ashes. The release date according to IMDB is 27th March 09 in the US, but other sources state January 09. It was released in the UK 7th October at a film festival, but here's a small snippet found on YouTube:
As for his love life, Robert is said to be single and looking for love. When asked what qualities he looks for in a girl, he replied, "mental, strong women" and then added, "The stuff I find attractive in women, I always regret finding attractive. I always like a kind of madness in a woman, and when they are really, really strong. And they're the worst - mental, strong women! But I like it when they hate me right from the beginning."
While visiting The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he denied having romantic ties to anyone. “Now, are you single?” Ellen asked. “Ah, yeah,” Robert replied “No one else seems to get into a relationship with me. It’s really strange,” he told Ellen. “People like screaming at me,” he added. “Actually, they like screaming at me in relationships as well. No one wants to commit.” I'm sure there's plenty of takers out there.
As for his hair, up until recently Robert was renowned for his shaggy mess. But to everyone's surprise he had it shorn off for a trendy buzz cut. As the saying goes, out with the old and in with the new. If this year is anything to go by, Robert need not worry about 2009 - from now on, every year will be his year.
