Visualnewbie.com: An Armed Society is a Polite Society!
I know there’s been a lack of updates, but I’m working on that. I promise…
Here’s a new design, “An Armed Society is a Polite Society!” T-shirt that has been added to Visualnewbie.com for some time now. And it’s only now that I’ve actually have the time to give a brief introduction to it. It seems to be a popular product. It’s a similar design to the “Peace Through Superior Firepower” T-shirt design that I’ve created ages ago and that I also have for sale. So here it is…

Visualnewbie.com: Scratch and Sniff!
Here’s a new design on Visualnewbie.com that was just recently added. I call it the “Scratch & Sniff” Pine-Fresh air freshener t-shirt. It’s not exactly a scratch and sniff, but it sure would be funny to see others try to scratch and sniff it. Besides, I can’t be the only one to have thought about wearing one of those Pine-Fresh air fresheners for kicks. Now, instead of wearing it around your neck, you can wear it like this shirt.

POTD: Put Your Charger Game Face On!
With this week being the San Diego Chargers’ bye week and Halloween being yesterday, I had to do something Charger related and positive to make these long two weeks go by quickly. Football isn’t the same when the Chargers aren’t playing. It also doesn’t help that we’ve lost two games in a row and that it’s four weeks on the road. So, stay positive Bolt Fans, put your game face on! It’s not over yet!

The photos above is the NFL Fan Face. It’s a rubber mask with the San Diego Chargers’ colors. Pretty cool huh…

Visualnewbie.com: Going Green? Or saying Thank You or Salamat?
At Visualnewbie.com, a sister site of CommunicatingIdeas.com, we’ve got you covered. Here are some new designs for those going Green and wants to show the world that they care about the environment. We also have a new design that says Thank You and Salamat, which means thank you in Tagalog, the language in the Philippines.

I even designed one for my fellow Pinoys and Pinays. One that say’s “Salamat”. For those you don’t know, salamat means thank you in Tagalog. Visualnewbie.com: Tailgate, Filipino, and Flashlights! New Shirt Designs!
Tailgate, Filipino, Flashlights! What do these have in common? Nothing really, except that they’ve just been added to Visualnewbie.com. Below are images of what the designs look like as well as a description.
1) Tailgate Shield. I created this for all the tailgaters out there. And I’m one of them and proud of it. Go BOLTS!!!
2) Filipino Sun and Stars. There are many shirts out there that use the basic sun and star design from the Philippine flag. I wanted to use my more updated sun as the focal point. Mixing it up is the name of the game right now. I’m trying to set myself and my designs apart from all the others.
3) Ultimate Flashlight Junkie. Yes, there are people out there that love flashlights. Myself included. What can I say, I love tools and a flashlight is a tool. It has a similar design from my previous shirt, “Flashaholic”, but just changed the words a bit. It’s my way of showing people the light. :)
Other designs are on the way. Continue to visit CommunicatingIdeas.com for the latest news on Visualnewbie.com. Or just visit Visualnewbie.com directly.

POTD: Car Gets T-Boned on Freeway!
For today’s photo of the day, a car gets t-boned by a truck. This accident happened on the same day (2008.10.17) as the Bay Terrace canyon fire near Morse High School. This occured on the Southbound 5 during rush hour traffic. This also happened to be pretty close to the Civic Center exit. It makes you wonder, how the heck does a car get t-boned on the freeway?

POTD: “Super Scooper” Aircraft during Bay Terraces Fire Near Morse High School
Well, it’s fire season for us located in Southern California. These canyon fires are nothing new for us living in the Bay Terrace/Paradise Hills area, but sometimes it does hit home. I took a series of photos as a couple of these “Super Scoopers” flew right above us on their way to the Sweetwater Reservoir for refills yesterday. And wow, they got real close as you can see from the photo. I couldn’t get it the first time when they even got closer. Picture that...

Visualnewbie.com: New shirt designs added!

Here are some new t-shirt designs from Visualnewbie.com.
1) Chokeland Fader Hater. Hating Since Forever! An Official Tradition! It’s a must have shirt/gift for those hating the Oakland Raiders. Great for wearing at any bar, game, tailgating event you can think of. It’s a great conversation piece too. If you love this, check out the “Faders Suck! Commitment to Excrement!” t-shirt design as well. You know it’s our duty as San Diego Charger, Denver Broncos, and Kansas City Chief Fans to hate on this team. Heck, everyone in the league should join us and hate on them.
2) Flashaholic, Ultimate Flashlight Junkie. As a guy, we love hobbies and tools. A flashlight is both. What’s more to like? This makes it the ultimate gift for anyone that loves flashlights, besides a flashlight itself.
Come back here to CommunicatingIdeas.com or Visualnewbie.com for the latest updates on what’s new.

Here at CommunicatingIdeas.com, we’re in the voting spirit. We’ve created some new voting t-shirts for Visualnewbie.com. 1) Vote Red! Vote Republican! 2) Vote Blue! Vote Democrat! 3) Vote Green! Vote Green Party! It’s the perfect gift/gear for any Republican, Democrat, and Green Party member.

Visualnewbie.com: Vote Flag Shield T-Shirt

What can I say, I love this country. I’m excited about voting this coming November. So excited, I designed a new shirt for those who also want to encourage others to go out there and vote. It’s a shirt that demonstrates that you don’t have to be a Republican, a Democrat, a Libertarian, or a Green Party to vote or have an opinion and know how to use it. Show the young ones how important it is to exercise your rights. Rights that many people from other countries wish they had.
Check out the shirt and other products with this design HERE! Or click on the photo of the shirt. Also, check out the whole store with other cool designs at Visualnewbie.com – Urban Apparel.
Make sure to come back soon, here at CommunicatingIdeas.com for up to date info on other designs. Other designs are in the works/completed and should be added soon.

Visualnewbie.com: Republican and Democrat Vote! Shirt Design

Republican! Vote red! Democrat! Vote blue! Republicans and Democrats, show off your support by voting red or blue! Let those Republicans and Democrats know which side of the party line you side on. Here are some new Democratic and Republican Party T-shirts and gifts to give recognition to your Party affiliation. Support the Democrat or Republican Candidates and their party with our products.
Here’s a direct link to the products… Here’s a link to Visualnewbie.com.
Well, it’s almost that time of year where we all should exercise our rights. Many people out there don’t and it truly is a shame. It really doesn’t matter who you vote for, at least to me, as long as you go out there and do so. We all can agree to disagree...
I really don’t like the feeling of millions of our citizens not caring enough about this great country. After all, those men and women getting voted into office work for us. That’s right, they work for us! We’re their boss and our voice needs to be heard! When our employee doesn’t get the job done, we do something about it! Now is our chance... So, go out there and vote.

Visualnewbie.com: Faders Suck! Commitment to Excrement! Fan Gear!

Here at CommunicatingIdeas.com, we’re Charger fans! As Charger fans, it’s a tradition, our duty to look down on the Chokeland Faders, I mean Oakland Raiders. So much so, I decided to design a shirt, “Faders Suck, Commitment to Excrement!”. Some may say it’s immature, I say it’s all in fun. The best part of the game is the rivalry. Besides, it’s the team everyone loves to hate, besides the New England Patriots.
So, show off your fan gear to others around you about how you truly feel on game day or while tailgating before an event about that team that sports the silver and black. Heck, it doesn’t need to be a special day to wear this. As a fan of a rival team, these shirts get a lot of attention and become the talk of many conversations and it should. Because it’s a great looking shirt and any shirt that looks down on the Faders is a good shirt. So, sport this shirt and chant “Faders Suck!” because they have the “Commitment to Excrement”. Your fellow fans will love you!
Not only Charger fans are wearing this shirt, but also Denver Bronco fans and the Kansas City Chiefs fans. You see, fans from other teams have the same hatred towards them, not only the AFC West. But the whole league itself. So, get yours now at Visualnewbie.com before your favorite has to face them.
You can get them right HERE! Or click the image banner above.

Why is it... Why is it? (Advertisement Quote and Sayings)
I came across this quote/saying in a pamphlet regarding advertisement and found it interesting. I’m a firm believer in the power of advertisement and the way it influences people to do/buy things. Especially days like this, where the economy is down and businesses are reluctant to spend a little to get their names and products out there. Many businesses out there either doesn’t believe or don’t care for advertisement and basically think it’s a waste of time and money. Not here at CommunicatingIdeas.com, we believe in the power.
The old saying, “It takes money to make money” is true for the most part. The sad part is people jump to conclusions, that it takes lots of money to make it. It takes money, but it doesn’t have to be a lot of it. You have to be smart about it. Just a little bit helps and makes all the difference. Especially with the help of the internet, this makes it much easier and cheaper if not free.
Just read the quote and give it some thought. Sometimes a simple quote like this puts things in perspective, even if you don’t believe it. I just thought it was interesting when I came across it and wanted to share.
“Why is it...? A man wakes up after sleeping under an advertised blanket. On an advertised mattress and pulls off advertised pajamas. Bathes in an advertised shower, shaves with an advertised razor, and brushes his teeth with advertised toothpaste. Washes with advertised soap, puts on advertised clothes, drinks a cup of advertised coffee, and drives to work in an advertised car. And then... Refuses to advertise, believing it doesn’t pay. Later if business is poor, he advertises it for sale. Why is it?”
