Shoppers utilize TextBuyIt by sending a text message to “AMAZON” (# 262966). The sent message must [...]

Business-to-Business Blog Planning

        by Larisa Redins
Despite the evidence that proves that business-to-business blogs connect designers with decision makers … and shorten sales cycles, curiously only a small fraction of Fortune 500 companies sponsor a blog today.
Don’t take my word alone for it though! Studies from Forrester Research state that B2B blogs can indeed “open the formerly closed [...]

Search Engine Success Lies with Keywords

Webmasters must not be daunted by overarching powers the search engine sometimes seem to have over websites on the Internet. Search engines need to be considered, after all, simple and efficient machines, ascribing them powers of complexity and then subsequently changing your web plans in a hopeless ploy to beat them is a fools game. Search engines are simply filters that aim to arrange websites on the Internet in the most orderly and efficient manner possible for end user viewing. It is up to web designers to build and amend their sites in a presentable manner for search engines so that the appropriate web searchers will locate them. As webmaster it behooves you to keep this in mind. Do not fight sound, orderly logic. We at ConductSearch maintain that your relationship with the search engine need not be an adversarial one.

As you are undoubtedly aware, there are now millions upon millions of blogs now available online.
Money Cannot Buy Everything: Yahoo!Search Considers Ad Quality in New Ranking Model

On February 5, Yahoo launched its new search marketing ranking model in the U.S. It was the final installment of Yahoos new enhanced search monetization platform, commonly known as Panama. Originally, YahooSearch Marketing worked solely with a bid-to-position model, whereby a higher bid resulted in a higher rank for an ad in paid search results. However with the new model, Yahoo will use an algorithm where both bid amount and "ad quality" determine an ads rank in paid search results. Yahoos aim is to pull the focus away from bidding wars and center it on higher quality ads that search engine users will find more relevant.

Newspapers Can Thrive Online

Numbers alone might lead one to think that the end of days is almost here for newspapers, but there is also my personal observation, too. I could go a week without reading a newspaper or seeing one lying around the office. According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations in the six-month period ending March 2006, the daily circulation of American newspapers dropped 2.5% to 45.5 million from a year previous. Print numbers were already stagnant and circulation inflation scandals have been popping up across the land.

iPhone: The Future is Calling?

Greetings technophiles, I am sure you have already heard about the iPhone, but what is it all about really? Here is my take on it. This week Apple CEO Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone at the MacWorld tradeshow. The iPhone has been in development for the past two years. It is a combination of widescreen iPod, internet communications device with desktop capability, and mobile phone.
