Apple Computer Corporation Chose Comfy Sacks to Outfit their corporate headquarters in Cupertino California

October 26th, 2007

Apple Computer Corporation chose Comfy Sacks to be used in their creative ‘think tank’ rooms.    The Comfy Sack was picked over all the other competing foam bag chairs on the market including both Foof Chair and LoveSac.     We are honored that a company that is known for selling top quality products, chose our product!   After much debate Apple decided on a large order of 3.5 ft and 5 ft sacks in the pebble fabric called… You guessed it APPLE!   The pebble collection is a new fabric collection we began offering in early October which has become our second hottest seller next to micro suede.    Contrary to popular belief, we did NOT name the fabric Apple after the large order with Apple Computer, they just happened to love the color and also the name was fitting.

It seems that more and more companies are turning Comfy Sacks to create a more fun and exciting work environment.    Apple is just one of the many companies that demands creative thinkers and people that think ‘outside the box’    If you think your business may benefit from putting a couple Comfy Sacks in your office, give us a call and we would be glad to speak to you.

Disclosure: If you are already in a very boring job/work environment, Comfy Sacks will NOT make your boring job more exciting or creative.  However, It WILL make it a more comfortable job!    Our recommendation, buy a Comfy Sack for yourself and get a new job!!!

Foam Chairs are a Gamer’s Delight

May 4th, 2007

More and more people these days are discovering the fun of video games played at home on consoles and massive multiplayer online video games and computer games. Some people sit for hours on the weekend or in the evening playing these games, and there are huge tournaments devoted to the pursuit of virtually blowing up other people.

Marathon gaming sessions can be a lot of fun, but they also place a lot of strain on the body. Sitting in one position for hours at a time with very little movement can strain the back and shoulders, not to mention the pain in the arms and hands from holding your controller for so long.

There’s no good remedy for hand strain other than taking breaks from destroying your enemies, but when it comes to the body aches associated with long periods of gaming, there is a solution: picking a different chair. Next-generation beanbag chairs like the Comfy Sack are a perfect choice for gamers because they give needed support while also being incredibly comfortable.

These foam chairs are different from the bean bag chairs of old. Instead of being filled with those noisy, crunchy Styrofoam pellets that leak out all over the floor, these chairs are stuffed with furniture-grade Comfy Foam for extra comfort and durability, but they keep the classic beanbag shape, allowing users to sit or lie however they like.

Comfy Sacks come in a variety of sizes, but the most popular one for gaming is known, appropriately, as the Gamer. This five-foot sack is perfect for one person to sit in for long hours playing video games. If you’ve got a little more room, the six-foot Video Sack is another great choice for watching movies and playing games. It can even replace your couch!

Because the foam in Comfy Sacks is incredibly supportive, it puts no pressure at all on the body, so no matter how or how long you sit playing your favorite video games, you’ll feel a lot more comfortable than you do sitting on a traditional couch. Gamers who have used the Comfy Sack for gaming rate them even higher than chairs that were designed for long-term gaming—they’re just that comfortable.

The Comfy Sack has been cited by gaming magazines as the ultimate choice for marathon gamers, and this beanbag chair is actually used at some gaming tournaments so that fatigue is not a factor in the scoring of the games.

If you’re planning the perfect game room or simply love gaming and want to have the best chair possible for your favorite hobby, invest in a foam Comfy Sack. These aren’t your grandma’s beanbag chairs, and they’ll get you through many hours of gaming (or watching movies, or television, or whatever else you do in front of your television) with ease and comfort.

Finish off Your Home Theater with Style

April 29th, 2007

You’ve spent thousands of dollars getting the setup just right: you’ve got the 60-inch flat screen HDTV, the fabulous surround-sound speakers, the perfect gaming system for long hours playing games with your friends.

You’re set for entertainment in your new game room or home theater room, but where are you going to sit? Maybe you’ve got a few old chairs or a couch, but why not upgrade your seating while you’re at it, too?

The most important thing when choosing seating for a home theater or gaming room is that it be comfortable and versatile. Those special theater seats made for home theaters aren’t the best choice if you ever like to snuggle with someone else while watching a movie or if you want to be able to easily move closer to the television when playing video games.

Traditional furniture is a fine choice for your home entertainment room, but you might want to add a giant pillow to your room as well to give you even more options.

Once such giant pillow is the Comfy Pillow from Comfy Sacks. This huge six-foot by five-foot pillow is a wonderful choice for any room where you want different seating options. Such a pillow can be leaned against a wall or the front of the couch or chair to make floor-level seating for two, or you can use it flat on the floor as a great place for one person to lounge.

Folding the pillow in different ways can make it more like a beanbag chair for one. It’s the ideal choice for people who love to watch movies, play video games, read or hang out with their pets in a comfortable place. Kids also love these huge pillows because they’re great fun to flop down on and stretch out.

Adding a giant pillow to your family room adds seating for parties or when people come over to watch the big game. It’s an incredibly attractive seating option that will become the focal point of gatherings. People will fight over the pillow even when there’s other seating available.

A giant pillow like the Comfy Pillow is also a great choice for dorm rooms. A versatile pillow can be a study nook, hangout spot, even an impromptu bed for a visitor or the perfect place to read or watch television. These giant pillows are the perfect addition to a small space where you want to be comfy without a lot of trouble.

Get Comfy and Fight Breast Cancer

April 14th, 2007

Don’t you love it when you can do something nice for yourself and help other people at the same time? Many different companies give customers the opportunity to buy products they are interested in anyway in special-edition pink and donate a portion of the sales to breast cancer research.

One such company is Comfy Sacks, makers of next-generation beanbag furniture. These foam chairs are not your grandma’s bean bags, but she might wish she had one when she sees the Special Edition Susan G. Komen Pink Microsuede Comfy Sacks.

Comfy Sacks are made with high-quality, furniture-grade foam that supports the body no matter what position you’re sitting or lying in. They produce no pressure points on the body, which means you can sit for hours and not feel any pain.

These foam chairs come in a wide ranges of sizes, making them perfect for kids, couples, families or those who do a lot of entertaining. A Comfy Sack could easily replace your couch in the television room or make a cozy place to crash for the kids in the game room. These foam chairs range in size from the 3.5-foot sack, which is perfect for a child, to the huge 8-foot Party Sack, which is fit for a crowd

People who play a lot of computer or video games says beanbags like the Comfy Sack are the best choice for sitting long hours while playing, and parents of autistic children have reported that the bags help calm their children down and make them feel safe and secure.

These chairs are also a great place for new moms to nurse their babies, as they are a comfortable place for both mother and child. We recommend Comfy Sacks in the range of five to seven feet as the ideal place for nursing, or even taking a nap with your little one.

For each customer who purchases any size of Comfy Sack, ranging from the 3.5-foot sack to the 8-foot Party Sack with the pink microsuede cover, Comfy Sack will donate $25 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.

This beanbag chair is a great gift for a new mom, or the perfect addition to your bachelorette pad or television room. It’s the perfect place to hang out with the girls or your kids in any room of the house. And knowing that your purchase will help breast cancer research and hopefully get us one step closer to a cure, that’s even better.

Comfy Sacks: The Next Generation of Beanbag Furniture

March 22nd, 2007

A whole new generation of beanbag furniture has come on the scene in recent years, bringing a new level of style and comfort to living rooms, playrooms and other places where people want to be cozy.

Looking at these new style foam chairs, such as the Comfy Sack, you might wonder what all the fuss is about. These beanbag chairs don’t look that different from the beanbags of the 1960s, but they are worlds apart.

Comfy Sacks look a lot like first-generation beanbag chairs, but that’s about where the similarities end. Instead of being filled with noisy, scratchy and flattening-prone pellets of Styrofoam, Comfy Sacks and the other next-generation bean bags are filled with foam.

In the case of Comfy Sacks, it’s a high-quality, commercial-grade urethane foam known as Comfy foam. Why does this make a difference? Foam chairs are much more supportive than the old beanbag chairs. They hug your body in whatever position you’d like to be in and quickly spring back to their original shape when you get up.

Comfy Sack bean bag chairs will never leak or compress. They put no pressure on the body so they are perfect for sitting for long periods of time without pain, whether you’re watching movies, reading, doing homework or just chatting with friends.

Another big difference between the new foam chairs and the old bean bags is that the new chairs come in a wide range of sizes. Comfy Sacks come in a huge variety of sizes to meet all your lounging needs:

      ·         3.5 foot Comfy Sack, good for one child or adult

·         5 foot Comfy Sack, a roomier choice for one adult

·         6 foot Comfy Sack, good for two adults

·         7.5 foot lounger, a good couch replacement that seats three or four adults

·         8 foot Comfy Sack, also known as the Party Sack, seats a crowd, and they’ll always be one at your house when you get one of these beauties!

Given the wide range of size options in Comfy Sacks, it’s no exaggeration to say that this is one piece of furniture you’ll use every day. Foam chairs are a perfect choice for the game room, for the kids to watch videos on, to replace your couch in the living room or to provide a comfy place to snuggle for your autistic child. Once you try living with beanbag furniture, you’ll wonder how you went so long without it.

The Entertainment System Isn’t Complete without a Comfy Sack

March 8th, 2007

It seems like everyone these days is interested in having a great home entertainment system, with the best HDTV, digital surround sound, game consoles, digital video recorders, high-quality HD-DVD or Blu-ray players…the list goes on and on.

But one thing a lot people don’t think about when planning their dream home movie theater is the seating. Most people just keep their old couch because it’s served them well in the past. Some people spend tons of money on fancy theater seats for the home, but who wants their living room to look like a movie theater?

Those seats also make it impossible to cuddle with your sweetie or pile up with all the kids to watch the latest Disney film. So what’s a family or a person to do when they want to upgrade the couch to an incredibly comfortable, versatile and stylish piece of furniture that doesn’t cost a ton of money?

Try The Comfy Sack. This next-generation bean bag has none of the problems you remember from old-school bean bag chairs. Made from high-quality polyurethane foam instead of those noisy Styrofoam beans, The Comfy Sack is more comfortable, durable and quieter than those beanbags of old.

Comfy Sacks are bigger than traditional beanbag chairs as well. Our smallest model is 3.5 feet around, while the largest is a whopping eight feet, giving you plenty of room to stretch out and watch movies with your friends. It’s no wonder we call this size the Party Sack!

If you don’t have room for a behemoth Comfy Sack, there are also five foot, six foot and 7.5 foot Comfy Sack bean bag chairs to meet all of your needs. The six foot model is our most popular, allowing two adults to sit and stretch comfortably, fully supported by the soft foam.

The 7.5 foot Comfy Sack is a great option for replacing your current couch. It’s more of a rectangular shape than the other models, and can easily fit several people. The Comfy foam always springs back from the shape of your body, no matter how long your XBox marathon lasts.

Another great option for an entertainment room is to purchase a couple of smaller Comfy Sacks for use when playing video games or as kids bean bag chairs. Several gaming publications have recommended our products. If you play a lot of video games, you know the chair you’re sitting in can affect your endurance. Because you can sit or lie any way you want on the Comfy Sack, you’ll stay comfortable longer.

You might have seen the Lovesac or Foof Chairs sold at your local mall or in catalogs. These foam chairs are nowhere near the quality of Comfy Sacks, and they’re more expensive as well. The Love sac is made with inferior foam that is harder than our comfy foam, and neither product comes in as many styles or colors as our bean bag chairs.

The Comfy Sack cradles you in whatever position you want to be in and doesn’t put any pressure on the body. A Comfy Sack is the most versatile piece of furniture you can buy. Once you put one in your decked-out home entertainment hideaway, you’ll wonder how you got along so well without one.

Comfy Sacks Bring Comfort to Autistic Kids

March 1st, 2007

More and more children are being diagnosed with autism each year. The U.S. Department of Education says autism diagnosis is growing at a rate of 10 to 17 percent a year, leading the Autism Society of America to predict the number of autistic people living in America could hit four million within the next decade.

When working with an autistic child, it is important to make them as comfortable as possible. Being in a secure place of comfort makes it easier for autistic children to focus and remain calm.

Using a Comfy Sack when working on therapy and learning activities can be a big help for autistic children. We’ve heard from many parents who have told us about the positive difference having a Comfy Sack has made in their lives and the lives of their children.

The Comfy Sack is a next-generation bean bag chair filled with high-quality, furniture-grade polyurethane foam. It is not noisy to sit in like a conventional bean bag chair, and it is firm enough to hug your body without being stiff or hard.

Comfy Sack beanbags put no pressure on the body, making it easier to sit for long periods. It also provides a place of comfort and safety for the child. Some parents even report that their children prefer to sleep on their Comfy Sack rather than in bed because the feeling of being surrounded by the sack is very comforting.

Parents can sit with their child on the Comfy Sack and spend time working on educational activities, reading or just being together. Using a Comfy Sack will improve bonding with your child and make activities more fun for both of you.

Comfy Sacks can be covered with cotton twill or high-quality microsuede, which is the preferred choice for kids bean bag chairs. This soft but durable fabric wears well and is nice to touch. The cover is removable and machine washable.

We’re so confident in the ability of Comfy Sacks to help children with autism, we’ve advertised our products in The Autism Advocate magazine to spread the word about how Comfy Sacks beanbags can help.

Feeling safe, secure and comfortable is so important for people with autism. The Comfy Sack bean bag chair can help your child feel more secure and help you both enjoy activities together even more than you do now. Your Comfy Sack will become the favorite place for family fun or one-on-one time that is so important for your autistic child.

Comfy Sacks Teams Up with Rupert Boneham to Help Kids

February 25th, 2007

If you’re one of the more than 38 million people who voted for Rupert Boneham on “Survivor: All Stars,” helping him win $1 million, you probably already know what a great, charismatic and generous guy he is. But what you may not know is that he used most of his winnings to start a charity, “Rupert’s Kids,” which empowers young people to find their inner strength, self worth and value to society.

Comfy Sacks, a maker of premium bean bag furniture, believes in the mission of Rupert’s Kids to provide mentoring and educational programming to youth as well as developing housing options for low-income families and facilitating community partnerships to help disadvantaged people of all ages.

“We fell in love with Rupert when we saw him on ‘Survivor,’ but we liked him even more when we found out about all he has done and continues to do to help kids,” said Tyler Shearburn, founder of Comfy Sacks. “We jumped at the chance to help. But instead of just making a donation, we wanted to develop a product that would reflect Rupert’s larger-than-life personality and generosity.”

The Rupert Edition Comfy Sacks are covered with super-soft tie-dyed fleece and range in size from 3.5 feet round to the massive eight-foot Comfy Sack, fit for a crowd. Comfy Sacks will donate $25 from the sale of each Rupert Edition Comfy Sack to his charity.

“Rupert loved the Comfy Sack so much he asked for an eight-foot model for his office in

Indianapolis,” Shearburn said. “He uses it every day when he’s not on the road sharing the good work of Rupert’s Kids.”

Comfy Sacks are not your mama’s bean bag furniture. Made with high-quality, furniture-grade foam, they are incredibly soft and comfortable, supporting your body without being stiff. The foam has incredibly memory and does not flatten or make noise like the traditional foam used in bean bags. ComfySacks are perfect for lounging, watching movies, playing video games, reading, even comforting autistic children. Learn more at http://www.ComfySacks.com.

Comfy Sacks was founded about four years ago when Shearburn was looking for the most comfortable seating possible for watching movies and playing video games. Unable to find what he was looking for, he developed Comfy Sacks as an extremely comfortable and reasonably priced alternative to couches and chairs.
