Yesterday was the Feast of All Carmelite Saints & today is the Feast of All Souls of the Order. November, in general, is the month which the Church has traditionally set aside for the Holy Souls.

FEAST OF ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CABRINI
Mother Cabrini, originally from Italy, was the very first U.S. citizen to be canonized. She was a Religious of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart. She spent her life working for the benefit of the poor, uneducated & underprivileged.

Michael Sopocko, confessor & spiritual director of St. Faustina Kowalska, was beatified by Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday , Sept. 28 in Bialystok, Poland. http://www.rte.ie/news/2008/1019/therese.html The Servants of God, Louis & Zelie Martin, parents of St. Therese of Lisieux, were also beatified by the Pope on Sunday, October 19 in the French basilica dedicated to their daughter's memory.
