Today new Nokia handset with compact clamshell design is announced. It is a low priced, decently featured phone, the Nokia 3610 fold. If you are interested with an affordable and decent phone, you might be interested.

Some of the features of the Nokia 3610 fold include support from all four GSM bands means that it can be used worldwide. 2″ unit internal display with 262K colors and 1.36″ external secondary display which is al so 262K for alerting on incoming calls, messages or showing analogue time clock.

There is also a 1.3 megapixel camera on board. Also Nokia 3610 fold will have 30MB internal memory that is expandable to 4GB with microSD cards. Also there are blue and red frame with silver color options available for the handset.

Release date for the Nokia 3610 fold is September 2008, Q3 of 2008, and its price is estimated to be 125 euro before taxes.

Today it is officially announced that we will be seeing the new white color version of the PocketPC which was called Samsung i900 Omnia. This time there is not wavy pattern which reminds of N-series. Instead it will be the same as the black version with a brushed back but with snow-white color.

We also publish the official photo of the Samsung i900 Omnia from the GSMArena website. It is a new alternative for people who doesn’t like the old conservative black version of this PocketPC.

Another Samsung leaked online few days ago before it is officially announced. We are talking about a new Symbian OS based smartphone which has a 5 megapixel camera, and it is called the Samsung i7110.

Although there is no information about the features, we can tell some by its photos. However with this handset, Samsung is certainly showing that it embraced the popular Symbian S60 OS.

As far as the photos tell, the Samsung i7110 is UMTS-enabled (has video camera on the front for video calls) which has a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus on the back. Flash is also another feature which is seen but it is not possible to tell if it is xenon or a regular LED.

As it was in the Samsung Soul b, we have all-metal battery cover in the back. Also we see a microSD memory card slot on left side. A small disappointment is the lack of microUSB availability, instead there is proprietary Samsung connectivity port.

After the official info, there will be more to tell about the Samsung i7110. There is no information about release date and price of this handset. Also about the availability of GPS or Wi-Fi which is necessary for future handsets.
