JENNIFER WESTFELDT - SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS

I would love to hear your opinion on actress Jennifer Westfeldt’s royal blue dress. Could the number of fabric rosettes that are encircling the scoop neck of the dress and slipping over the shoulder gilding the lily a bit on the excessive side? Or are the embellishments a fitting and suitable frame for this blonde haired beauty’s lovely face?

Could we have done without the continuation of the swirling fabric down the front of the dress (which with the covered belt could almost be called a modified shirtwaist style) and around the knee length hemline?

Frankly, the dress is lovely but the minute I laid eyes on these pictures of Jennifer Westfeldt something seemed “off” to me. The color worked, the decorative touches that I mentioned in the previous paragraphs were not too heavy or out of place and the overall look was okay. So, what was it that kept bugging me?

Dark black tights have been overdone as fall fashion trends in my opinion. This outfit would have been much prettier (again in my opinion) with nude stockings, but without a doubt the black hose were fashionable. But then I zoomed in to get a better look at her black peep toe shoes and what became evident to my surprise was that the stockings were not silky black, but black fishnet tights or stockings!

I love fishnet tights or stockings, but do they work with this dress? Somehow I’m having a difficult time trying to mesh the curves of the delicate dress that Jennifer Westfeldt is wearing so gracefully with the diamond shaped patterns in her stocking no matter how sexy men consider them to be.

So what do you say? Do the black fishnets make or break this look?

MARCIA CROSS - Proof That Women with Red Hair Rock!

Marcia Cross may not have natural red hair, but unlike most women with red hair she knows how to work it. She has a keen eye for what colors to wear with her hair color that include just the right shades of green and as seen in this picture, lavender.

Her porcelain skin and eyes are those seen on red headed women who came by it the natural way as indeed she may have earlier in life. Who cares if she gets a little help from her hair stylist? Believe me when I tell you that Marcia Cross' long red hair could be on any number of women without those spectacular results. I, myself, have tried Loreal hair color Feria shades of red and auburn with less than attractive results. My skin color was suited for dark red dye nor the light strawberry blonde look.

These Marcia Cross photos show her long red hair as a carrot orange color which may have been due to the sunlight at the time the picture was taken because at other times its a much deeper, richer shade. You have to hand it to her, not many modern ladies are bold enough to venture into that area of the color spectrum. Even fewer could look as beautiful as this celebrity does after the deed is done. It's a sad fact that all women with red hair are not pretty. But I'm confident that nobody will deny that Marcia Cross is drop dead gorgeous with a stylish look beyond compare.

PAULA GOODSPEED PICTURES FROM 2003

I'm not sure that I even remember Paula Goodspeed from her American Idol audition, but I am sad to hear that she was found dead in her car nead Paula Abdul's home. It was reported that she appeared on Idol in 2006 (or they mentioned that the show was the most popular on television in that year. The phrasing was not clear), but I found this pic of her that was dated 2003.

Could there be any cuter couple than Camilla Belle and Joe Jonas? Could this be what motivated Joe to bust it up with one of America's favorite country singing stars Taylor Swift only to be connected so very quickly with this beauty that he was reported to have met on the set of a music video?

Or are they dating at all? If indeed they are, they must be keeping it lowkey. This might indicate that they are just enjoying spending time or perhaps they are being private out of respect to Taylor who has stated publicly that she was pretty heartbroken after the breakup.

JACKIE SANDLER and ADAM WELCOME SUNNY MADELINE

Jackie Sandler is reported to have added a new daughter to the family that she and celebrity, Adam Sandler, having been working on for a few years. The new Sandler's name is Sunny Madeline which without a doubt is an excellent choice. With such an upbeat mother and father how could she have anything other than a sunny disposition? Welcoming sister, Sunny Madeline, is daughter Sadie pictured above with Jackie and Adam last year.


Celebrity mom, Jackie gave birth to this beautiful baby girl last week on November 2, 2008. All parties are reported to be happy and healthy. We wish the couple love, luck and happiness and many happy moments with Sunny and Sadie. Hopefully they will grace us with some pictures of the new baby soon.

Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon Nude Photos

Cheetah girl, Adrienne Bailon, has learned a nasty lesson. It's never a good idea to carry around a laptop computer with nude pics of yourself (and probably anyone else) on it.

Will this hurt, maim or mangle her career? Why should it? From what we have heard, she wasn't doing anything wrong. Weren't there just some pics of her naked? So, what?

Now when it comes to the person who stole the computer with the photographs and invaded her privacy; their life should be changed and not in a positive way.

IS FRANK GIFFORD PARTIALLY RESPONSIBLE?

Can Frank Gifford be held responsible for the premature aging that some smokers experience because of his promotion of cigarettes when he was young? Of course not. But does this picture of Kate Moss prove that lung disease may not be be the only downside to smoking? You be the judge.

A lot has been made lately about those old cigarette ads that Frank Gifford did back in the old days. How this stuff is relevant to our world escapes me. After all, wasn't this back in the dark ages when if you had a cold some of the sage advice you received was that you should run out and switch to menthols until the illness ran its course? Were people honestly crazy enough to think menthol cigarettes were some kind of breathing treatment?

I'm sure that Frank as well as millions of others have realized that it was STUPID to think that smoking could be a cure for anything other than to help you end your life. If shortening your time on earth was your goal, then baby you were on the right track. Of course, there would be the gasping, coughing, shortness of breath and nasty coughing to contend with before you got what you wanted, but there you go. Models and movie stars may rather hack and cough than get wrinkles and a ragged complexion.

GWEN STEFANI's CELEBRITY NURSERY

It struck me that since Zuma Rossdale has been born that we have seen several photos of him, but not one pixel of the baby nursery design that was reported last summer to have walls painted solid black which caused much speculation on whether or not a dark as a dungeon room for baby was beneficial or not.

Can anyone direct us to pics of Gwen Stefani's nursery? And another thing, can somebody fill me in and tell me, is black and gothic the "it" baby nursery theme for celebrities? We hear rumors that Ashlee Simpson's decorating the nursery with Nightmare before Christmas posters and art yet she had a Winnie the Pooh baby shower theme! How on earth could somebody associate the two as they are on completely opposite ends of decorative tastes and likes?

ANGELINA JOLIE "BEARS" ALL - KUNG FU PANDA BEAR THAT IS!

Angelina Jolie, Bears and Jack Black; what a killer combination! This celebration had all the bases covered; the gigantic Kung Fu Panda bear took care of the "cute" factor, Jack Black and his crazy Kung Fu moves provided the comedy and then we have long, lean and lovely cast member, Angelina Jolie, sharing her aura of elegance and cool refinement.



Speaking of which, is she amazingly thin? I am so completely jealous it's sickening! Who else could carry off a simple black dress with elbow length sleeves and a pair of plain tan peep toe pumps with such style? Speaking of the tan heels, they were okay. But here I go playing celebrity dress up; I would have loved to see her with that dress and these suede peep toes with the leopard print spike heels just for fun. The animal print on the heels would tie the outfit together in my opinion.

JACK BLACK'S KUNG FU PANDA PHOTOS

In Jack Black's Kung Fu Panda photos Jack was really showing off some serious moves. The cute Panda bear himself was warily watching in the background at the DVD release on November 9, 2008 at where else but at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood CA.

The Kung Fu Panda t-shirt that Jack is wearing is pretty cool and I would love to own one. But the turquoise and black athletic shoes really take the prize for style in my book. As enticing as the outfit may be, I'm actually more excited about Kung Fu Panda and Po's new adventure Secrets of the Furious Five. Stay tuned for reviews and meanwhile I'm off to frame a few Kung Fu Panda posters for the game room to celebrate the release.
