Find Them Easily

I’ve recently been able to conclude that the best way to locate old friends and colleagues is thru the numerous social networking sites that have sprung up all over the internet. Some of the more popular ones that help you find people free are Friendster, Xanga, Multiply, Myspace, and Flickr to name a few.

Often these social networking sites have large databases of members that make it possible to find people, free. Just type in the name of the person and voila! These sites are not only for locating people you know and lost communication with. You may try to find people free with the same interests, hobbies, and location to be friends with or share resources with. Or you may be looking to find people free to hook up with, romantically. Personally, I don’t do this. It’s not my thing.

Yeah, I’ve never been the type of person to join clubs nor one to sign-up for different sites even if they promise to find people free just so I could reconnect with them. I am just too lazy to go through all the motion of filling up forms and thinking of usernames and passwords for every find people free site. However, I’ve been lured by a friend and by everyone in my workplace that had an account with Friendster or other find people free type of networking sites.

Stories about how these websites led them to find people, free. Like their long lost childhood best friends or met new ones. Left and right I’ll hear them talking animatedly about how they find people free using these networking sites. And suffice it to say I got convinced with all these find people free stuff talk that they’ve got going around me, I signed up.

I’ve never looked back since then. True, I did find people free and easy with their fast and user-friendly search function. And although I’ve gotten more invites from other social networking sites that offer a find people free feature, I never signed up for another one again.

There are a lot of other websites out there that is dedicated to find people free for those who are hell bent on locating someone. Some of these sites are:

PeekYou, an online search engine that let’s you track and find people free.

Pipl, same as PeekYou. Find people free through the web, quick and easy.

Zabasearch, locates persons as well as telephone numbers and addresses. This site must have one heck of a search engine crawler that lets you find people free and fast.

And Mottle, the first People Wiki search engine that lets you find people, free.

However, the appeal of social networking sites is not only in their find people free functions and extra features but in their potential to reconnect friendships, bridge gaps brought about by long distance, and a way to indirectly market any kind of service or product. Truly, they have come a long way from just a site to find people fre

Internet's Blessing

I consider Facebook and Wikipedia as wonderful blessings of the internet. Enjoying online surfing was made possible by facebook and Wikipedia and its various functions.
With Wikipedia and facebook, I get to learn about things that I am interested with by just clicking my mouse. It’s like throwing in a question and wikipedia and facebook hands in the answers to me, effortless.
With Wikipedia, I can start a hobby and make projects with all the information that were loaded by Wikipedia for my use. Wikipedia provides the link for the methods that needed. The Wikipedia is like an encyclopedia sans the browsing page by page and the fee of buying the Wikipedia. Wikipedia is something that one can look up to whenever you need to know about something or someone.
Wikipedia covers various topics. Whatever information you are looking for, Wikipedia can provide them. Wikipedia allows you to know more about your favorite celebrity and political figures. For hobbies and interest, Wikipedia never disappointed me. I was able to fish out information from Wikipedia on the things that interest me and Wikipedia also provide other links that may help with my research. Wikipedia does not only give me information but allows me to be updated on what other people with the same interest like mine are doing. And it is really helpful when the blog owner that Wikipedia provides have a facebook where I can be enlisted as a member.
Facebook is my online yellow pages. But unlike the yellow pages, aside from the phone number and name I also get more relevant information from facebook. With facebook, it is easier for me to find the information iam looking for. And for someone who value privacy, facebook offers security that restricts other people from accessing my detailed facebook profile.
With the fast-paced world of career people like me, spending quality time with friends is scarce. Facebook came into rescue when my friends and I can not synchronize our schedules. I was able to keep my friends updated about the things that are happening in my life through my facebook account. Likewise, I am aware of the progress of their life even if we do are worlds apart thru facebook. Facebook made networking easier without leaving the comforts of my home. It saves me time and money when all I have to do is to look up for someone I need to get in touch with in Facebook . The facebook is like an express lane for someone who has a busy schedule like me. With facebook, I can see photos of my friends, tag them on the photos and even put notes on them.
If things get a little bit stagnant in facebook and wikipedia, another similar social networking site that is worth surfing is the mottle.net. Like facebook, it offers various functions aside from networking that you will keep me in touch with other people with similar interest. You can enjoy and at the same time network through this site.
